Police Assistant - Shanna Leonard
I am originally from Bethune SC. A few years ago I moved to Camden to be closer to work. I was previously employed by the Kershaw County School District. There I had the pleasure of being a special needs assistant. I have an Early Childhood Diploma, and a ECD 101 and Leader in Me certification. I am also certified in Crisis Prevention Intervention which taught me how to ensure the care, welfare, safety and security of children as well as adults. I am sure all of my previous trainings will help me on my new career path as a Police Assistant.. My main focus has always been to help others and to make a difference no matter where I worked or went in life. I am the mother of two beautiful children Nevaeh 10, and Daryn 4. My parents, younger sister, and two nephews still reside in Bethune. In my spare time I like to travel, read, write poetry and spend time with family and friends. I am excited about serving the town of Elgin and seeing what God has planned for me on this new journey.
